8 Victims Injured After Tarawih Rushed to 3 hospitals in London

London, – There was a collision incident after Tarawih prayer at Masjid Finsbury Park, London, England. A number of victims were rushed to hospitals (RS) in London.

“We have treated 8 patients from the scene and escorted them to 3 hospitals in London,” the London Ambulance Service said in a statement, as quoted from the Twitter account of Secretary-General of the British Muslim Council Harun Khan on Monday (6/19/2017).

There were also two other victims treated at the site, according to local police. They suffered minor injuries.


They got an incident report at 0015 local time. A total of 60 medical personnel directly sent to the location.

In a recent statement, the London Metropolitan Police confirmed one person was killed in the incident. The death toll has not yet been released to the public, as a new identification process will take place.

Imam of the local mosque called this incident as an act of terrorism. But no group or party has claimed responsibility for what happened to these Tarawih prayers.

Police have secured one person related to the incident. The local situation was also chaotic after the incident.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian Embassy in London continues to communicate with the police to find information on whether there are citizens who become victims. KBRI urged citizens to remain vigilant.
